What a busy week we had!
It was nice to get back into the routine and be back with our friends.
We had an excellent time exploring all things winter.
Our friends loved sharing their stories of the snow they were able to explore at home.
In art we used a shaving cream, paint and glue mixture to represent melted snow. Some friends made melted snow people, others just made melted snow pictures.
Then we used painters tape to make snowflake shapes on paper, then using fingers and hands in ink , we stamped around the tape, then pulled off the tape and the snowflake shape stayed.
For a STEM activity we used q-tips and cards to make snowflakes.
We had our first Chapel of the year. Learning about family. Our friends loved the song Father Abraham that Mr. Nathan taught us.
The favorite this week was definitely snow in the sensory table.
They definitely were glad to be back. They loved the snow in the sensory table. They also did enjoy singing with Mr.Nathan in chapel. It was a fun week!!
