This week was a fun and exciting week! We talked-about Christmas! What we wanted for Christmas! What we were going to do for Christmas! How we would travel? Would we travel like Mary and Joseph or would we fly, drive or take a train.
In our Sensory table we had rice with jingle bells, and pipe cleaners and they used magnets to see which they could pick up. The science center had a scale and candy canes and pepper mints. They were trying to figure out which weighed more!
In the Math center we had a toy gingerbread house to put together! They enjoyed putting it together and seeing the different combinations.
In our Writing center they could write letters to Santa. That was fun hearing about what Santa was going to bring! They also had Christmas wrapping paper to practice their wrapping. Some of them were pretty good wrappers!
In our Dramatic play center they had Christmas cookies and a coffee maker. Boy, have we ate a lot of Christmas cookies and drank a lot of coffee/ hot chocolate this week!
We also were able to put ornaments on a Christmas tree.
The most fun this week, was music! We practiced our Christmas songs for our Christmas celebrations! We loved seeing all the parents and grandparents! Thank you for coming!!
We'd also like to thank Ms. Gwyn for helping out this week while, Ms. Tasha was in Florida with her daughter.
Thank you all for allowing us to have your children in the classroom and letting us help them on their learning journey! We look forward to more fun and learning in the New Year!
Merry Christmas ๐ ๐
Ms.Tasha, Ms.Taylor, and Ms. Melissa
