This week we had lots of fun getting to know each other a little more.
For art we used a paper square, gluing different pieces of paper on to it, then together it made a friendship quilt!
We also got to chose a color to paint our hand, then smoothed, and mixed it together with a friends hand, to see what color we could make. We turned our hand prints into a tree, by many suggestions from friends.
We had foam blocks out to see what we could build together and separate because sometimes even good friends need space to work apart too.
In the sensory table we "made" friendship stew. Using mini erasers with smiley faces, pom poms to represent love, and links to link together.
To work on fine motor skills we strung beads on to chenille stems and made bracelets, either to give to a friend or to keep.
In the kitchen we used menus and cash registers to pretend we were eating at a restaurant with friends.
Two favorites from this week: Freeze dance in circle and being outside!
Next week : All About Family!
