April 14-18 Easter

 This week we talked about Easter. 

In our art center this week we used Easter cookie cutters to paint with. We also used paint sticks to paint white plastic eggs.  They really enjoyed that!

In the sensory table we had Easter pasta and buckets. 

In the science center we had some eggs that had magnts in them and some that didn't.  They had to figure out.

In the dramatic play center they had eggs and buckets. They were able to have their own egg hunts in the classroom.  I am sure we'll be finding eggs for a while!

We went outside and had an Easter egg hunt. They loved running around and hunting for eggs!

We also had music with Ms.Gwyn. The children really enjoy this time.

Baby animals! April 7-11/25

 What a fun week we had! 

We learned all about baby animals and their names!

In the kitchen we had farm to table veggies and fruits.

For manipulatives we brought  bac

k out the barns and animals, which was a huge hit.

In science we matched baby animals with their families. 

For art we painted with feathers and then used dot markers to make bunnies. 

In the sensory table we used soap and water to wash animals. 

A favorite this week had to be all of the fun week of the young child activities  we were able to participate in!
